About this Print:
In a black gum swamp in Vernon, Vermont, A. Blake Gardner discovered a log, covered with turkey-tail fungus, lying amidst lush moss and ferns. "I felt the scene had the potential to be a compelling photo," he said. "When the red eft held still for a several-second exposure, I knew the image was complete".
